Internationally recognized sculptor, designer and master metal craftsman, Charles Splady is the founder of the atelier. He was a guest speaker and workshop leader at the 1996 and 1997 International Sculpture Conferences. Charter member of the Pacific Rim Sculpture group founded in 1994, Charles developed the mission statement for the group. He is currently a member of the California Blacksmiths Association and is involved with the student intern program at the College of Arts and Crafts Oakland and San Francisco Campuses. |

Master
Sculptor and Metal worker, Greg Wescott
is certified to weld most metals including some unusual
ones such as copper and stainless steel. He is a master at cutting
big sections of steel (6"+) on his pantograph cutting machine.
Gregory specializes in projects involving structural elements. He
also is a member of the California Blacksmiths Association. |

Mechanical designer, inventor, and engineer, Richard Corville is a main part of our design team. He has worked on a diverse number of unusual projects in his career such as the Space Shuttle exterior tiles, Canadian deep mining equipment and Jelly-Bean manufacturing equipment. We have been lucky enough to get Richard to work with us for the last few years. |

Johnson-Michiels does all of our graphic
and portfolio work. She is an exceptional illustrator and an exeptional
etching printer. We are very fortunate to have her help in archiving
our photo and bibliographic library. |

Mitchel
L J Michiels is a master of architectural photography. Michael
photographs all of our work in his studio and on location. His contagious
enthusiasm and humor facilitates taking pictures in our customer's
business and residence. |
